Asrock comes with the new series of motherboard, For this time is the boards for “Rig” AMD and certainly uses AM3 socket. Asrock 870 Extreme 3 has used chipset AMD 870 that associated with the name. The cooling system in 870 Extreme 3 has used usual system heatsink without using heatpipe. So that among the southbridge, northbridge and mosfet has own heatsink. So the system of motherboard is more cooler than usual.
The interested feature that found in Asrock 870 Extreme 3 is that there are chipset AsRock true 333 bridge which has function to run fully SATA 3.0 and USB 3.0, without to sacrifice the bandwidth from PCIe x16, So the system of motherboard will be clear from bottleneck.
Gigabyte finally comes with the new premium peroduct, GA-890FXA-UD7, why am i telling a premium motherboard cause when we opened the package to see the bundle of product, the additional equipement is complete enough. And in additon to equipements, I also take a looks in the features of this amd motherboard is complete enough as well. So this is my review
One of them is in a cooling area, So in Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD7 has used heatpipe system that can be upgraded to liquid cooling system. in thisreview, I suppose this amd motherboard is who love overclcoking activity. The heatpipe cooling puts in CPU power mofset area, southbridge and northbridge. This motherboard use socket am3 to place the amd processor.
In addtion to integrated cooling, there is also optional cooling which available in the bundle package is called Hybrid Silent-Pipe 2, it claims can increase cooling system will 33% and more. The another feature is a performance of PCI-express that support 4-way ATI CrossFireX. besides that in its overclock feature, gigabyte give Auto unlock support, AMD Overdrive support and onvercloking Easy Tune6 applications.
ECS comes with new product from Black series, A890GXM-A V1.0 which uses Chipset AMD 890GX and in northbridge is powered by chipset SB850. With AMD chipset automatically this motherboard use onboard graphic, ATi Radeon HD4290. Now I am going to review this product which has price of US$131 and use Socket AM3.
In A890GSM-A has a new number of features for ECS such as heatsink type of heatpipe to cool a CPU power mofset and northbridge chipset so that the performance of this amd motherboard will be still stabil. This feature is called QoolTech III. Moreover, southbridge chipset is also protected by usual heatsink copper.
the another feature is switch onboard to on/off and reset button, there is also a feature called M.I.III which used to support a overclocking performance in this motherboard. In accorind to ECS website, there are also addtional features such as eJIFFY which used to booting quickly without harddisk (based on linux), eBLU to perform BIOS live update directly and easy, eDLU to perform update driver online.
PCP uses AMD 890GX in their latest product of amd motherboard in Grifonnomex series, instead of 890GX chipset it is also powered by SB850 in northbridge. AM3 socket is used to place a processor , for peromance of this motherboard is not too bad and make it as good choice to create new personal computer.
PCP 890GX Grinfonnomes has integrated VGA namely ATi Radeon HD4290, There is many features in this AMD motherboard, in addtion has sideport memory if you would use integrated video card without RAM, this pcp motherboard also equip with heatsink type of heatpipe which put into CPU MOSFET as fas as northbridge. While in Southbridge is not connected in that heatpipe but has own heatsink. It means with both extra heatsink make a performance of a motherboard more stability.
I am going to review Biostar TA890GXB which is based upon AMD’s 890GX chipset for the Northbridge and integrated with Radeon HD 4290 and SB850 chipset for the Southbridge combination. And also support SATA 6 Gb/s,unfotenatelly there is one issues with this chipset which is the de-activation of the Advance Clock Calibration (ACC) on the southbridge.
ACC allows the fourth processor core to be unlocked on the fifth or X3 CPUs and sixth processor cores to be unlocked on CPUs. Biostar motherboards has BIO-unlocKING allows users to activate ACC on AMD processors. Uses AM3 as the main socket for processor.
This AMD Motherboard by Asus comes from Republic of Gamers series, CrossHair IV formula has modernity features comparing the previous version. It uses AMD 890FX chipset and strengthened with Northbridge chipset SB850. and also has been used AM3 socket Ok In this article I am going to full review this product. The some new features which can be found on the Asus CrossHair IV Formula is heatsink type heatpipe with attractive color and shape. This heatpipe is used to cool South and Northbridge including PWM so it make sure the system work stability. The additional features in this AMD’s motherboard is swith onboard which more smarter besides the start and reset buttons, it is also provided the TurboV Evo button which can do overclocking fastly without changet the BIOS Setting or Overcloking setting with software. Yeah I think this Motherboard is best for overcloking purpose.
Micro ATX Gygabyte GA-MA78GePM-DS2H is the kind of motherboard I would trust enough for mounting an overall good system. I recommended it because this AMd motherboard has Good performences, support the Phenom 9850, good overclocking possibilities, enough room for big CPU cooler, the sideport memory helps with graphic cards. In 2008 it is the best motherboard for AMD overall.
The lack of this Gygabyte motherboard is in the north bridge chipset get hot even has a larger heat sink. And several drivers need to be updated manually via internet. And you have to do the settine manually from BIOS is there is happen small issue in auto setting with DDR2 1066 memory.

You know recently, this amd motherboard is based upon AMD’s 890GC chipset which offers 22 PCI Express lanes to split into 16 for external graphics. Uses AM3 socket for the processor. In this years ECS has launched a A785Gm-AD3 motherboard which uses the 785G+S870 Southbridge/Northbridge combination. Comparison with other AMD motherboard, the price is pretty cheap only 112$. In this article I am just going to the black series in this product. Features scores is only get 35, Compability is 10. All of the perfomance in this mainboard I think gets 11.

Unfotenatelly in this ECS motherboard has no used a new technology to USB 3.0 and still uses a USB 2.0, The CPU socket on the board is AM3 interface, you could install Phenom II, Athlon II or even Sempron 100. be aware to don’t intall AM2+ CPUs. This AMD motherboard has perfectly supported DDR3 memory.
